Underwater captation by Filmatik in Los Angeles
The technologies we use allow us to intervene in any aquatic environment. Marine environment, fresh water or swimming pool...
Our aquatic drone
Filmatik is equipped with a drone capable of making aquatic images, whether photos or videos. The 100-meter connection cable is connected to a remote control allowing us to control the drone remotely.
The drone is equipped with high-power lighting making it possible to capture good quality images even in low light or rocky bottoms.
We can make the recordings in two formats: classic or 360 ° VR for a real immersion in the aquatic environment, giving the possibility to the spectators to experience the images as if they were there.
Aquatic chamber, to be as close as possible to the subject!
Our aquatic chamber straight from the United States is perfectly designed for our Canon camera to capture up to 15 meters deep, with very wide zooms. Handmade, this case is corrosion resistant and offers high quality images, even in depth.
Focus on an underwater capture project
For the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône, Filmatik has produced a film on biodiversity: An immersive journey to the heart of the Rhône in France.
Shot in 360°, this video highlights the species present on the river and the actions of the CNR and its partners, thanks to an innovative scenario that makes the animals of the Rhône speak while following the migration of the Black Kite.
From the source of the Rhône in Port Saint Louis to the city of Lyon in France, we were able to film the Rhone wildlife without tricks or artifices during migration periods.
These images, captured with 360° technology, are rarely seen to date.
This film was presented at the World Conservation Congress in Marseille in 2021 through virtual reality headsets and a touch pad for a total immersion and to be as close as possible to the fauna and flora of the Rhône, without the need to move and without unnecessary pollution.
The success of the film led it to be presented in various fairs including the Odyssey of entrepreneurs in Lyon, the Congress of Large Dams in Marseille, or the Energy Transition Conference in Geneva.
A fun and educational communication medium, our film raised awareness of biodiversity issues around the Rhône.
